Fair running with chances for runners

Saturday, 14 July 2007

The last running of bulls of Sanfermines 2007 turned out to be fair, at least one injured. Besides, thanks to the distance between the bulls from Caceres the runners excelled.

From their depart from Cuesta de Santo Domingo, the tame ones have gone first in the race and two of the six “victorinos” were left behind. Before reaching “Plaza Consistorial” a young was turned upside down by a morlaco and is likely to have received a stich in his gluteus.

The animals put distance between themselves, consequently the herd was broken up while crossing Mercaderes  until they had reached  Estafeta street. Some youngs fell down and one of them was  assaulted by a bull. In Telefonica a runner was knocked down. The morlacos arrived apart  from each other in Plaza de Toros.

The running was quick. It  lasted two minutes and a half. Likewise the race turned out to be quite exciting specially for runners who had enough room in order to positionate  in front of the bulls and enjoyed themselves.
