A delegation made up by a score of people coming from Bayona (France) leaded by Jean Luis Delas, Jesús Barrientos, member of the spanish-german board of directors association (Padernborn - Germany) and Sofía Villegas, president of colombian culture house (Pamplona - Colombia), attended the ceremony as well.

Everyone drank a toast in the Reception Hall after the mayoress of Pamplona and the representative from Bayona had made a speech. Bayona is the most veteran city holding this ceremony which began taking place from 1960 when the two municipalities sealed their alliance. A delegation from Pamplona will move to the city of Bayona so as to pay back the visit as usual.

The official meal offered by the Town Hall is due to take place this afternoon in la Ciudadela. This meal is dedicated to Navarra institutions, mayor of merindades and to the representatives of the twinned cities of Pamplona.
