In a sunny morning all the people from Pamplona and from all over the world gathered in front of the Town Hall to wait for the beginning of the fiesta. When there were only a few minutes left for noon youngs lifted their scarfs over their heads so that they would tie them round their necks once the rocket had been fired. Bottles of champan were uncorked while songs were being sung so as to honor San Fermín.

People spreaded the fiesta all over the city and gave free rein to happiness.
