The scaner will control the content of the luggage which are placed during the celebrations of San Fermín. It has been handed over by the Government of Navarra and the Town Hall of the capital city of Navarra has come in into operation.
This security measure completes the large device prepared by the Town Hall so as to guarantee security during the festivities of San Fermín.

The Town Hall awarded Sedena enterprises with the service management with a budget of 23.500 euros. They had handed in near 600 luggages till the last minute the 6 July.
They handed in more than 3.000 luggages in the left luggage office, which remained open untill the 3 July, during the last sanfermines. The people responsible from the service told us there wasn´t any problema with visitors in spite of the minutes of wait they have to bear at the beginning of the celebration. The beginning of the celebration coincides with the weekend.
The insertion of the scaner was one of the most tacked matters several days before in a meeting that was held in favour of the security device of sanfermines.
