Fighting to win the place they deserve, women have come a long way, although they still have a long way to go. This whole week there will be feverish preparations for Saturday’s event, the International Women’s Day 2008. Many towns in Navarre join the celebrations, including Pamplona, Tafalla, Sangüesa and Villava.
In Pamplona there will be plays, concerts, conferences, films, exhibitions and even a contest —Pamplona en femenino 2008. In Tafalla, there will be documentaries, films, comedies and a photographic exhibition, among others.
In Villava a literary coffee circle and a poetry recital will be held.
Women are the key figures in the world this week. Make sure you join the celebrations.
