It’s the Jornadas de Exaltación de la Verdura (Vegetable Festival) returning to the Ribera one more year

The long wait is over and, from 18 April to the end of June, Tudela becomes the World Capital of the Vegetable. After a rocket to announce the start of the festivities at 8.00 pm, the town will fill with street music, children’s games and pinchos (tapas).
This will also be the perfect occasion to inaugurate the Ruta de pinchos de Verdura 2008 (2008 Vegetable Pincho Route). Just be on the lookout for the poster advertising the XIV Jornadas de Exaltación de la Verdura (14th Vegetable Festival) outside bars and don’t think twice about it.
But this is only the beginning.
Like every year, the programme will be full of events —tour for foodies, special vegetable menus and tapas, recipe contests, cooking courses, food samplers, tastings, etc. Never was healthy eating such a delicious experience.
