The pavilion of Navarra at Expo Zaragoza has celebrated with its particular chupinazo the start of the festival of San Fermin. The rocket, which took place at 12:00 p.m. at the hall of the Navarre stand, has been launched by the President of Expo Zaragoza 2008, Roque Gistau.

The event was attended by the  Councillor of Institutional Relations and spokesman for the Government of Navarre, Alberto Catalan and the Director of the Pavilion of Navarre, Mary Rose Ibanez, among other personalities.

Following the launch of chupinazo, those present have made a toast brightened up by the choir Virgen de Nieva and the marching band of  Valtierra. A total of 140 artists have encouraged the atmosphere with a tipical repertoire of Sanfermines.
