Injuries in the second Encierro

A Spanish man (31), E.I.P. was gored in the upper leg during the last section of the run. There is an unconfirmed report from participants of a second man with a compound fracture of the lower leg at the start of Estafeta Street. In all there were five injured men taken to the hospital after the second bull run with the Cebada Gago’s livestock.

 

The injured was taken to Virgen del Camino Hospital, where the local J.M.I. (45) was also attended to with several contusions after being run over by the livestock. Another three Spanish men were taken to the Hospital of Navarre: J.P.LL (23), A.G.H. and J.Z.Z (21) with non critical injuries.
