SOS Navarra has received 15,507 emergency phone calls this Sanfermines

Since the 07.00 a.m. on July the 6th until midnight on July the 9th,  SOS Navarre of the Navarre Agency  of Emergency has recorded 15,507 emergency phone calls from all over the Foral Community.

 

He has also arranged resource mobilization in 546 incidents involing the Sanfermines (213 July the 6th; 133 on the 7th and a hundred on the 8th  and July the 9th ).

 

Of these incidents, 269 required a transfer to a hospital. The 22.30% (60 cases) of these transfers were caused by alcohol poisoning, 20.45% (55) due to injuries and wounds, the 9.67% (26) by traumatisms, 7.43% (20) were due to injuries suffered during the encierros and  the rest due to other matters.

 

In addition, it is remarkable that most of the 269 cases that required the transfer to a hospital (163) occurred in the old part of Pamplona. Among the companies that have made these services coordinated by SOS Navarra are Cruz Roja (94), DYA (136), Seis (2) and Baztán Bidasoa (33). 86 of these transfers have been made to the Hospital de Navarra , 81 to Virgen del Camino and 40 to the surgery of San Martín.
