90% of the arrests in these Sanfermines are for theft

According to Municipal Police, most of the arrests made during the Sanfermines are for theft. In total, one hundred people have been arrested during this festival, 90% of whom have been for theft. The nationalities of the thieves are varied, although there are a lot of Romanians, especially pregnant women.
A total of 1,238 complaints were received between Municipal Police, National Police and the Police of Navarre. 930 of them are for theft.
In addition to this, quite a few shop of food, that did not have license to offer such a service, has been closed.
More people arrive to Pamplona on July the 9th
Although until yesterday less vehicles arrived to Pamplona than in 2007, on July the 9th more vehicles arrive than the same day of the last year.
Less trash than the last year
On July the 9th there are 13% less of garbage than the same day of 2007.
As a detail, this year have been collected many plastic bottles.
