They will come with their duffel bags full to delight the public with their trade demonstrations and product tastings. The traditional fair will be complemented by various sports, musical and cultural activities.

Also on 15 August, the nearby town of Jaurrieta will be holding its “Axuri Beltza”, a dance unique to this village which is only performed by women in honour of the White Virgin on the festival to celebrate the day of its patron saint.

After a pilgrimage to the chapel, they come back down to the village and start this unusual dance at 12.00 noon.
