Pamplona and Sarasate
Photographs of the exhibition 'Sarasate. Echoes of a violin centenary 'presents images of a walk through the personal, social and artistic Pamplona that Pablo Sarasate knew in a' photographic tribute 'to the path of this personal and artistic performer and composer from Pamplona. 115 photographers have made a personal look at the memories and places of Pamplona he met and the Pamplona these hundred years has honored and remembered.

A group of photographs collects images of the 'plate' placed in the birthplace of Pablo Sarasate, 19-21 in the numbers of street St. Nicholas. Another group of images reflects the balcony of the Hotel La Perla, a place from which, year after year, Pablo Sarasate gave a concert for all Pamplona.

Also, there are images that identify the presence of Pamplona in the Navarra Symphony Orchestra, the oldest active orchestra set in Spain, driven through the eagerness of Sarasate so that the city had an orchestra itself.

Finally, there are also photographs, among other places, of the headquarters of Orfeón Pamplonés (Sarasate was closely related to the history of this musical entity, in 1890 was elected 'President of Honour' of the entity), Nuevo Casino Principal (social entity that honored Pablo Sarasatein the 1886), the Gayarre Theatre (scene of the 93 concerts that gave Pablo Sarasate in Pamplona and one of the most emblematic cultural facilities in the city of Pamplona), his white marble mausoleum or the monument dedicated to him in CrescentPark.
