The little feast returns to the capital

We honour the patron saint of Navarre in the feast ofSan Fermín de Aldapa together with the people of Pamplona’s Old Quarter. On Friday 26 September the traditional txupinazo will be launched to announce the start of the second most popular feast in the region.
The txiki mayor will preside over all the events, from the fire bull to the reception of the major-domos from the other quarters in the city, as well as the parades of giants and kilikis.
All celebrations require vast amounts of energy which needs replenishing. This will be achieved through a calderete competition and a paella competition as well as a public meal, the zikiro jatea.

To top off this eventful weekend, there will be a procession in honour of the Saint on Sunday 28, followed by a krewe of Giants and Kilikis from Pamplona.
