Days become shorter, rain and cold seep in, the landscape turns colour. These are the symptoms of autumn and, to give it a proper welcome, Ezcároz organises on Saturday its Autumn Festival with a tradition that dates back quite a few years.
Planned events include a mountain trek departing at 9.00 am to admire the beautiful landscapes that surround the town. After that, there will be the 6th Shepherd’s Migas Competition.
This year there will also be a new competition, the Calderete with Mushrooms or Paella with Mushrooms Competition.Obviously, if there is something present in this part of Navarre at this time of year, it’s wild mushrooms.
The public tasting will be held at 2.30 pm. That, however, is not all. At 5.30 pm, there will be magical tricks performed by Mago Sun, and at 6.00 pm, a debate Aon mushroom topics. Come and enjoy some of the secrets that reappear in autumn.
