The match turned out to be rather balanced. Nagore played worse than his rival but at the end he imposed his physical appearance and his speed especially with the most lively balls.
Armendáriz began more balanced and aware in order to take advantage of his means though he is not so keen on distance as his rival.

The partial scores were: 4-1, 4-5, 6-5, 6-9, 7-9, 9-14, 12-15, 17-15 and 17-22 final.

Jorge Nagore after having won the final stated that he had had it extremely complicated. “Carlos has never given in and I have made the most fighting. It has taken me a lot but at the end I made it”.
Carlos Armendáriz stated “ He was mine, he was nervous and almost out of my mind but I paid dearly for my mistake, at the end he went into his fiercest game and has taken me out of the match”.
