This morning in the Town Hall, at 11 o´clock, the awards ceremony of the VI Internacional Competition took place with the mayoress, Yolanda Barcina. The winner is the fireworks display Vicente Caballer, from Lliria (Valencia). José Manuel Durá accepted the award on behalf of Vicente Caballer. The trophy, named “Meteoro”, is a work of art made by Javier Muro, sculptor from Pamplona. This prize is worth 6.000 euros.
Also, in the same act, was awared in the Town Hall, was awared the second prize worth 4.000 euros to Ricardo Caballer, from Godella (Valencia) wih the trophy of the Diario de Navarra (local newspaper). Santiago Cuñat accepted the award on behalf of Ricardo Caballer.

The Anoz brothers open this morning the space dedicated to the local music in the Paseo de Sarasate. Hundred of pamploneses wanted to see this spectacle. Jesús and Raúl Anoz, ambassadors of the navarre 's folklore over the world, proved this morning that this kind of music isnt't out of fashion. People of all ages enjoy earing jotas, and Navarre 's songs.
