The mayoress, Yolanda Barcina, gave this morning a very warm welcome to the people that since 2002 want to recover the tradicional Riau-riau. The Peña Mutilzarra, the asociation of Amigos de los Castillos, the asociation of widows of Iturrama, and the associations of pensioner Yoar, Azpilagaña, Ermitagaña y Mendebaldea. Those seven organizations during five years traed to recover this tradition was born in Pamplona in 1914 stablished by Ignacio Baleztena, but recently cancelled.
With this reception, Yolanda Barcina wanted to thank the effort of those people and recognized “the creative and dynamic spirit”. The mayoress gave to each association and small gift of San Fermín. Later Patxi García, president of the Yoar Asociation wished that the Riau-riau could be consolidated next year.
Finally, the musicians placed the Astrain's vals while the mayoress and another council's members danced.

One of the most crowded acts of the sanfermines´s morning is the leaded by the Comparsa. Hundreds children live with their parents and grandparents those great moments.
It´s incredible see how the four partners of giants dance. This four partners of kings made in the XIX century by Tadel Amorena are very heavy but even so dance and jump with the sounds of txistus and gaitas.
While the kilikis and zaldikos hit everybody and the children shouted, sometimes frightened and sometimes provocatives.
