The Town Hall tributes the oldest people of Pamplona

Today is the big day to the oldest people of Pamplona and there have been many acts for them along the day. They have honoured the saint with a mass in the Capilla of San Fermín.
At 12 p.m the mayoress of Pamplona , Yolanda Barcina has received two hundred-year-old woman: Natividad Cordero Moreno and Justa Ilundáin Biurrun. The mayoress has commented that this is one of the more emotive moments of the Fiesta.
In the same way, Yolanda Barcina has emphasized their example of life. They has received a pañuelico, a bouquet of red and white flowers and a gift of San Fermín.
The reception has finished with a lunch accompanied with the songs of Raíces Navarras group.
The last act of the morning has been a special concert celebrated in the Paseo Sarasate with the groups Rondalla de Yoar and Jus la Rocha integrated by retired person.
