Today. Friday 14/07/2006.
Today is 14th the day of the “Pobre de mí”. Eight days of uninterrupted Fiesta in which there was time for everything. In fact we had been different officials programs each 20 minutes, but the spontaneous acts had been coming continuously.
Today is the day of the goodbye: the last encierro, fast and clean as the others one; the Gigantes and Cabezudos who say goodbye to a crowded of children to the next year. The Town Hall go to the chapel of San Fermín for pray to the Saint. This evening the last parade of the mulillas, the last bullfighting … and at the end, the “pobre de mí”, but next we sing “ya falta menos” and start the countdown.
The town will return to the calm. The visitants will leave and Pamplona will be slept until next sanfermines. The International Press Bureau of San Fermín waves goodbye and leave the Tourism Office to return to our habitual place in the Press Association ( Ansoleaga Street , 12 - 1º A). We will be working there for and to the Fiesta.
