Given its size, number of participants and expectations of visitors, Expo Shanghai is positioning as a major cultural festival. The contents of the flag of Spain has placed in the hands of three of the most prominent of Spanish cinema: Bigas Luna, Basilio Martín Patino, and Isabel Coixet. Bigas Luna is responsible for opening the first room of the Spanish Pavilion with a time travel that aims to tell what identifies us to other countries, the force, the DNA of Spanish in the world. | San Lorenzo relays San Fermín |

One month after Sanfermines, San Lorenzo Street celebrated its own fiesta in honour of the saint with the same name, San Lorenzo, whose festivity is on the 10th of August.
At 1pm, hundreds of neighbors gathered at St Lorenzo’s church, where Andoni Irribaren and Manuela Huarte launched two rockets to announce the beginning of the fiesta. Following the “chupinazo”, the costumed couple of giants, Lancelot and the Gracioso de Arazuri and one dantzari (folk dancer) interpreted an aurresku (typical basque dance consisting of a lot of stretching). After that, 12 dantzaris interpreted dances from Baja Navarra.

The programme `The Early Show´, broadcasted on American TV channel CBS during morning time, devoted space to the worldwide famous fiesta of Sanfermines on the 8th of July 2010. This TV channel sent a correspondent who connected live from Pamplona with one of the presenters, Erica Hill.
